We’ve been at our domestic ministry this week. Which is just a week of doing ministry in the states!! It’s been so sweet and such a blessing to be able to do this before we leave the country! We are at a young life camp called sharptop cove! It’s about an hour away from where we have been at training camp in Gainesville!

If you read my last blog where I talked about the secret place and how He wanted to take time and go through things with me, we have officially started that process! Recently I was having a conversation with a friend who has been helping out with our squad and realized that loving people and being loved are 2 different things. What is love truly? 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, gives the definition of love! It reads, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” I’ve always loved people really well. It’s like my nature to love and care for people. To serve. However, receiving love is something I really struggle with. Receiving the Fathers love or receiving human love, it’s not easy. After the conversation I had with my friend I was honestly discouraged, I want to be known and want to allow people to love me and love me well. The next night we had worship and an intern who is also a friend of mine came up to me and simply said “I can’t help but smile when I look at you and see how loved you are by the Father, the next 9 months He wants to show you what it means to be His Beloved”. I simply just wept. Here I was just so discouraged, not even knowing what step to take next, and feeling abandoned. Then, a simple sentence completely changed my outlook. He hasn’t left. He isn’t just going to show me things that He wants to change and just leave me. He wants to walk with me in this. Thanking God for His love and gentleness that He just pours out on me. What a God we serve. A God that loves us enough to refine us and be in the midst with us! I’m excited to see how He works in this situation and how He changes me! Also, I’m still fundraising so if you feel led to support me that would mean so much to me!! If you have specific prayer requests please feel free to reach out! Thankful to be in this place !!
